Newstead Clark backs local cricket with multi-club sponsorship for 2026
We have reinforced our commitment to sport in the local area by sponsoring a host of local cricket clubs this summer.
We have long been a supporter of cricket teams across South Staffordshire and Worcestershire, and we have renewed that commitment by sponsoring five clubs in 2026. Among those, include Himley CC and Stourbridge CC – both of which ply their trade in the Birmingham & District Premier Cricket League.
We have also sponsored Brewood CC, Wombourne CC, and Fordhouses CC, all of which play their cricket in the South Staffordshire County League.
The funding helps to support the clubs in a variety of ways from being on playing shirts to helping to provide covers which keep pitches dry and enable games of cricket to be played.

Rob Clark, Managing Director of Newstead Clark, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to sponsor a host of cricket clubs in the local area again this year – continuing our long-standing support of cricket across the region.
“These clubs are at the heart of their communities, and it’s important to us that we play a role in helping them thrive both on and off the field.
“Running a sports team requires incredible dedication and commitment from volunteers who put in countless hours to put on games.
“Cricket has always been a passion of mine, and many members of our team at Newstead Clark play for various teams across South Staffordshire and Worcestershire – so it is great to be able to support in some way.”
As well as sponsoring a host of cricket clubs in the area, we also sponsor the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club – a Birmingham-based team that competes in the British Championship Basketball League.
Rob continued: “As a business, sponsoring clubs is a way of giving something back to the communities and areas we have a lot of clients in.
“Doing this, as well as donating money to charity, is something I am very proud of, and I hope we can continue to do so moving forward.”
