Newstead Clark raises vital funds for Compton Hospice

We are delighted to have raised more than £2,500 for Compton Hospice following our charity golf day last month.

The event was hosted at Enville Golf Club, and we were raising money for the hospice which operates across Wolverhampton, the Black Country and South Staffordshire and provides free palliative care for people over 18.

We were delighted that colleagues, clients, friends and families turned out in force to get behind the day, and we were delighted by the final amount of money raised.  

James Clark, Independent Mortgage and Equity Release Adviser at Newstead Clark, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to raise that amount of money for Compton Hospice at our charity fundraiser.

“The purpose of the day was to bring as many people together connected with our business and to raise as much money as we could for a charity that provides vital care and support for people with life-limiting conditions.

“We realise charities like Compton Hospice rely so much on donations and the generosity of others, so it is great to be able to make some kind of contribution.”

Newstead Clark has become accustomed to raising money for charity after Managing Director Rob Clark raised almost £5,000 for Blesma, The Limbless Veterans back in September last year.

James continued: “As a business, we believe it is pivotal to support people less fortunate than ourselves within the local community.

“Compton Hospice is another one of those and we were pleased that clients and others within our network got behind this event to support it and make it worthwhile.”
