Newstead Clark supports padel fundraiser

The Newstead Clark team recently took part in a fundraiser for the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club.

We are proud to sponsor the Rockets, a Birmingham-based basketball team that competes in the British Championship Basketball League, and it is the second time they have invited us to participate in their padel tournament.

The first competition pitted us against businesses from various sectors, and we emerged victorious, winning the tournament for the second time and bringing home some silverware.

Colleagues Ashley Dougliss, Josh Skyte, Matthew Gallear and Dean Lones from Newstead Clark made the trip to David Lloyd in Birmingham to defend our crown.

Ashley Dougliss, an Independent Financial Adviser at Newstead Clark, said: “It was great to be invited back to support the Rockets, a team we are proud to sponsor.

“Events like this are brilliant to get behind as they provide an informal platform to network with other businesses, and it is also a fun and competitive day.

“Naturally, having won the competition the first time around, we were keen to defend our title.

“It was a hugely successful day for everyone involved and being able to win the competition for the second time was also very nice.

“We’re very grateful to be invited once again and would like to thank the Birmingham Rockets for another successful day.”
